Summer Mocktail Recipes

Mocktails are great for when you are entertaining and want to offer an adult looking soft drink. However many recipes contain added sugar and are not as great an option as they might at first seem.

Here are some tried and tested recipes to inspire you when you want to offer a non-alcoholic drink to please the masses…

Sparkling Watermelon Cooler (serves 2)

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime
  • Thick slice of watermelon
  • Sparkling water


  • Chop the watermelon and place in a blender with the juiced lemon and lime.
  • Add some ice cubes and blitz, pour in a little of the water if needed to loosen.
  • Pour into a tall glass and pour over the sparkling water.

Orange and Coconut Refresher (serves 2)

  • 2 oranges
  • 200ml coconut water
  • 200ml sparkling water
  • sprigs of mint


  • Juice the oranges and place in a jug with plenty of ice
  • Add the coconut water, sparkling water and mint. Mix well.
  • Leave to infuse for a short while.
  • Pour into 2 tall glasses

Raspberry & Ginger (serves 2)

  • 10 frozen raspberries (you can eat these once you’ve finished your drink)
  • slices of lemon
  • Thumb sized piece of ginger (easier to grate if it’s frozen)
  • Sparkling water


  • Grate the ginger into a blender. Add ice cubes and blend until the ice is crushed
  • Divide the raspberries and slices of lemon between two glasses
  • Top with the ice and ginger mixture.
  • Pour over sparkling water.
