My Approach

I use 'back to basics' nutrition advice, combined with behaviour change coaching to enable you to make the changes you've been unable to sustain in the past. What this means in practice is identifying your starting point, what success looks like to you, finding out what you are motivated to do and what will be easy for you to implement. This means your programme is designed just for you, enabling you to quickly begin to feel successful.

You may have been told that you simply need to repeat a behaviour for 12 weeks for it to start becoming a habit, but if this was the case everyone would have achieved their goals by now! Consistancy certainly is important but this misses a vital part of the equation. Feeling good about ourselves. You don't have to convince yourself to eat a bar of chocolate, why? Because it feels good! And this is where my coaching differs from everyone else. I help you cultivate change by feeling good.

We do not create lifechanging habits by following punishing routines that we essentially don’t want to do. By investing in gym membership that we never attend. By over exercising and undereating. By spending stupid amounts of money on detox programmes that don’t work. By restricting food groups. I could go on but I think that’s enough.

You hold the keys to your success, I simply guide you to tap into what that is.

One-to-One Support

I hold my in-person consultations at my office in Brightlingsea, Essex. If you are anywhere else in the world we can meet virtually via video call, location is no barrier. You are welcome to book consultations as one off appointments but I find my clients have much more success when they work with me on a more regular basis, so as a minimum I recommend a block booking of three sessions to help you towards your goals.

In our sessions I will focus on getting to know you and your unique circumstances. I will learn what has led you here and what you want to achieve. Using my gentle approach, we can work together to help you begin to make changes that you are motivated to implement here and now. We don’t focus on the number on the scale but all the other markers that things are changing – better sleep, more energy, being able to concentrate or better relationships with your family as your mood swings settle.  Once you feel better everything, including weight loss, becomes much easier. Ultimately, my aim will be to build your knowledge and confidence so you can see results and make changes that will last a lifetime.


Block Booking

Three in person or online coaching sessions with weekly email support. This is the option where the magic happens! Each session is 60 minutes in total and should be three weeks apart.

In between these appointments you will have a weekly email check in and is where you do the deeper work. Answering a set of questions that enable you to understand what you have accomplished and discover new things about why you do the things you do. This also means we can change your plan to keep you feeling successful and positive!

You may require more than one block booking dependent on your individual circumstances. Please read my FAQ’s for further information.

Cost: £195


One off Consultation

This is for you if you want to get some quick pointers to get you started on improving your symptoms and getting your weight under control. If necessary, I can refer you onto other professionals who may be able to assist you further.

Cost for 75-minute consultation: £85


Follow up Review

Suitable for women who have finished their block booking(s) and would like to simply check in or review their current situation. Please note if it has been more than a year since your last appointment you will need to rebook with either a one-off consultation or block booking.

Cost for 40-minute consultation: £45

Throughout the year I am available for Nutrition & Wellbeing Workshops. These are not only for women experiencing menopause but for the wider workforce too, demonstrating how you can support your colleagues and make the work environment more inclusive for all. Most recently, I worked with Colchester Borough Homes and was pleased to be a speaker at Pitney Bowes Menopause Café.

Many organisations are beginning to recognise the importance of these issues on their workforce, on retaining skills and knowledge and creating a happier working environment. Workshops can be delivered either in person and virtually.
