Celebrating the success of our Menopause Retreat

Last Friday was my first menopause retreat, co-hosted with Yoga with Tunde. I’m pleased to say it was a huge success and the feedback from the ladies who attended has been outstanding!

💚What can I say but Amazing 😍 I had the best time today at this Day retreat I’m so glad I saw it advertised. From the moment I arrived I felt completely at ease once I met Julie and Tunde. We had a lovely introduction chat followed by our 45 min session in the floatation tank, which was incredible such a totally relaxing experience, would totally do this again. A lovely menopause friendly lunch was provided during which we discussed food. Kombucha tasting followed which was very interesting and led to us purchasing several bottles. Then yoga with the lovely, patient Tunde who listened to me and gave me lots of very useful information and exercises. Last of all the lovely Julie spoke to me about my diet and ways to change things to improve my well-being. Overall a fantastic time, lots of me time and very informative. Couldn’t fault it 😃 would highly recommend this even if you’re not menopausal. Thank you ladies 😘💕

Relax & Unwind

Our aim was for our attendees to take time out of their busy schedules to focus solely and completely on themselves. We managed to achieve this with our relaxed timings and one-on-one time. Each of the ladies took part in floatation therapy and came out in a blissful state of relaxation. Even those who may have initially had some trepidation about using the floatation tanks had the most wonderful time. We followed this with yoga (yogawithtunde.com) and nutrition & lifestyle advice with me. No one size fits all advice here. All beautifully targeted to each persons individual needs, which is a rarity at most of these types of events.

Well today I treated myself to a health and nutrition day, and what a wonderful day it was, so relaxing and informative and will definitely be going back. I would like to thank Julie Court Nutrition and Yoga with Tunde. This also included floatation therapy and kombucha tasting. All at Float and Booch, highly recommend.

Food & Drink

I provided our light lunch which consisted of tasty, menopause friendly foods. I’m pleased to say this was enjoyed by all. We used this opportunity to talk about the types of foods that can help support the transition into menopause and help alleviate some of the symptoms. This was rounded off with a kombucha tasting session and time to share experiences of perimenopause/menopause, their symptoms, what has worked for them and what hasn’t and left them feeling with absolute certainty that they are not alone on their journey.

Our venue of Float & Booch was perfect for our needs and enabled us to provide the exclusive and luxury setting we needed for our retreat day.

Does this all sound like a bit of you?
