Workshops, Retreats & Corporate Events
Throughout the year I run Nutrition for Menopause Workshops and am available for talks and presentations. Most recently I have spoken on ‘Food to Improve Mental Well-being’ and was invited to talk at Pitney Bowes Menopause Cafe. Many organisations are now beginning to understand the importance of these issues on their workforce and are seeking to provide value for money support. If you would like me to run a workshop or event for your company, please contact me for an informal chat.
On hold for now due to Covid-19. To be first to hear when my Exclusive Menopause Day Retreats restart – spa, nutrition and yoga. please contact me to be placed on my waiting list or sign up to my newsletter.
Can you visit me at home?
Typically my appointments take place at my office in Brightlingsea or online via Zoom. Once restrictions are lifted, I can visit you at home but this will incur an additional cost.
How often will I need to see you?
You can book a one off appointment or block of 3 sessions, this really is up to you and what you want to achieve. However, generally I would recommend around 3 sessions, usually 3 weeks apart in order for you to get the full benefit of my advice. After each session you will receive a detailed email summary with my recommendations, so you don’t have to worry about scribbling notes down. If you book a course of 3 sessions you will also receive a weekly email from me to check on your progress and answer any questions you may have.
What happens during a consultation?
The initial consultation lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour. Our meeting would generally take place at my Brightlingsea Office but can take place at an alternative venue or by video call if you prefer. We will discuss in detail what you hope to achieve and any health issues you have. I will look in depth at your current diet and lifestyle and address any factors that may be preventing you from achieving your goals. By the end of the session you will have a personalised plan to help you start to address your concerns through improving your nutrition.
I recommend a follow up consultation around 3 weeks after our initial meeting. This is so we can review how things are going for you, what’s working, what isn’t and address any areas that you are finding difficult or challenging. In this way I can continue to support and motivate you. My aim is to ensure you have the tools to manage your diet independently and change your habits for the better.
